It contains complex carbohydrates, fiber, complete proteins, minerals (manganese, phosphorus, iron, magnesium), vitamins B and E. It includes beta-glucan, avenin and a hormonal principle similar to folliculin. It benefits the digestive system and balances blood sugar levels. It remineralizes and provides a good tone to the body. Applied externally, it tones and nourishes the skin. It can be used as such or in combination with other types of flour. Suitable for preparing oat flour bread, oat flour biscuits, oat flour pancakes or oat milk.
