Xylitol is a natural product, which is found in various fruits, but especially in the sap of birch bark. The sweetening effect of xylitol in the Xylit Plus product is amplified by sucralose. Thus, excessive consumption of xylitol, which can have a laxative effect, can be avoided. Xylit Plus is stable when boiling, being an ideal substitute for sugar in the preparation of jams and fruit compotes. Consuming foods and beverages containing xylitol instead of sugar causes a decrease in the increase in blood glucose levels after consumption, compared to foods or beverages containing sugar. Consuming foods or drinks that contain xylitol instead of sugar contributes to maintaining the mineralization of the teeth.
