Wild sesame (Perilla frutescens) has been used for centuries in traditional oriental medicine against allergy symptoms. Coleus forskohli is a plant widely used in Ayurvedic medicine. The main component, forskolin ensures increased levels of cyclic AMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate). Allergic reactions occur when the level of cyclic AMP drops below the normal level in the bronchial smooth muscles. Vitamin B6 and magnesium have the role of fluidizing the transmission of the nerve impulse and thus have a spasmolytic effect.
